DMA in Choral Conducting anticipated 2010
Awarded upon review of professional accomplishments following graduation. As of May 2007, I will have fulfilled all residential requirements for the DMA, including class work, thesis, recitals, and written and oral examinations. For this work, Yale awards an intermediate degree, the Master of Musical Arts (MMA), which should be considered equivalent to a.b.d. status.

Conducts 100-voice mixed town/gown ensemble and 24-32 voice select chamber ensemble. Also teaches piano and voice to non-majors and collaborates with singers and instrumentalists on piano.

 

Conductor, Yale University Chapel Choir, 2003-2007
Recruited and managed a 24-voice, paid ensemble. Programmed and prepared weekly repertoire, including major works with orchestra.

Prepared major works with 70-voice adult chorus, including St. Matthew Passion, Christmas Oratorio (Bach), War Requiem, Mozart Requiem, and others.
